Public volumetric orifice gas meter SGD SMART GSM
The public volumetric orifice gas meter SGD SMART GSM consists of a gas-tight case in which an orifice-type measuring mechanism is placed, an electronic counting device with a corrector to bring the volume to standard conditions, a built-in shut-off valve and a wireless GSM data modem.
The principle of operation of the meter is based on conversion of the pressure drop of the gas passing through the meter into reciprocating motion of the orifices of the measuring mechanism, which is converted through a lever mechanism into the rotational motion of the drive shaft. The signal is taken by a magnetically controlled sensor of the electronic corrector, which generates electrical pulses at the output, the number of which is directly proportional to the volume of gas passing through the meter.
The meter is equipped with an electronic or mechanical (MTK modification) device for automatic temperature compensation reducing the measured gas volume to the standard temperature of +20 °C.
The meter is equipped with a wireless modem for data transmission over GSM cellular networks.
The meter has an embedded shut-off valve. The valve remotely shuts off the gas supply at the command of the metering system. The valve can only be opened with the permission of the system server.
