Small-sized household gas meter SGMD-2,5

Small-sized household gas meters SGMD (hereinafter referred to as the meter) are designed to measure the volume of gas passing through the meter (natural gas in accordance with GOST 5542, liquefied gas vapor in accordance with GOST 20448 and other gases that are not aggressive to the meter materials), used for domestic and industrial purposes.

The meter consists of: a jet self-generator, enclosed in a sealed housing with connecting pipes; electronic unit; housing covers with a sealing ring; the main alkaline battery for power supply and an additional backup battery installed on the electronic unit board, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the meter during the period of replacement of the main one.

Replacement of the power supply battery can be done either independently by the owner of the meter, or with the involvement of gas or service services. It is recommended to install alkaline batteries, AA size, with a voltage of 1.5 V. During the period when the main battery in the meter is discharged or not installed, it is powered by a backup battery. The counter's operation is not affected.
