Gas dielectric insert

The dielectric insert is designed to exclude leakage currents flowing through the gas pipeline when an electric potential occurs on the housing of gas equipment.

Application:

Structurally, the insert is an integral insulating joint consisting of two metal parts fused into the dielectric. The metal parts do not touch each other, which makes it impossible for leakage currents to pass through the insert.

The electrical strength of the inserts is tested with a voltage of 3750 V AC with a frequency of 50 Hz applied to the metal fittings for 1 min. The leakage current does not exceed 5.0 mA.

the electrical resistance of the insert to the direct current with a voltage of 1000 V is at least 5.0 mOhm.

The category of resistance to combustion of polymer insulating material is PV-0.

The electrical insulation material is of a distinctive yellow color. At the consumer's request, black material can be used.
